Staycation at Monteluce

Discovering places along South can be a tiresome activity. and as much as I can, I wanted to spend my weekends away from all the noise of the city. As mentioned on my previous post from my Nordic Homes blog article, I like staycations and some of the factors I look for in a place is the service they provide for their guests, the location, the amenities and of course the budget.

Somewhere along Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, there’s this Condominium situated between Tagaytay and Silang. If you happen to pass by this road, you wouldn’t really notice this property developed by Major Homes. It’s just a 45 minute drive from Manila (supposedly, without traffic) but of course we all know that this isn’t usually the case given the horrible traffic we have to endure almost every waking moment of our lives so let me add additional one hour with this estimate I gave you.

The area is very quiet and pretty much away from the busy streets of Tagaytay. If you prefer somewhere less crowded,  this place can be an option for you.  Take note: you’ll have the pool all to yourselves especially during mornings.

We booked this Condominium through Airbnb.  My ever trusted platform in looking for unique homes and resorts for my vacations/staycations.  I opted for a loft perfect for myself and my 2 kids who both love to stay at home and do their typical introvert kids stuff.

The bed accentuated by soft, white Ikea thin curtains.
Basic kitchen with basic kitchen essentials like microwave oven, water kettle, plates and mugs etc.
My pretty Savannah enjoying the playground
The cool mom trying out the swing and the slides.

Looking deadbeat here.

Some of the buildings aren’t occupied yet.  The one in front of me looks deserted.

We were the only ones swimming. . Just to give you a heads up, using the pool cost 100 per head. It’s not free for guests.

HOW TO GET HERE:

By car, just drive by Emilio Aguinaldo Highway. If you will be coming from Cavite , it’s on your left side just right after Robinsons Premier Silang.  If you will be coming from Tagaytay from Olivarez, go straight via Emilio Aguinaldo Highway right after Pink Sisters.

By commute, ride the bus going to Tagaytay or Nasugbu. Tell the driver that you’ll be alighting at Monteluce Silang. Your main landmark is Robinsons Premier.
